Patronness of the Americas

Friday, December 12, is the annual Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the "Patronness of the Americas." Several prayer, devotions, photos, and information are offered about Our Lady of Guadalupe at this website.

Of course there are many days throughout the Church Year to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. Ask your students to examine the following list. Then have them write a journal entry explaining which title they are most drawn to and why.
