The hour-long PBS documentary featuring The Congregation of Holy Cross and its apostolates, including Ave Maria Press, is now available to view on YouTube.
Sacred Mission-Civic Duty, which looks at how Holy Cross and its apostolates have been influential to the growth and development of South Bend, Indiana, is part of PBS-affiliate WNIT’s celebration of South Bend’s 150th anniversary.
Ave Maria Press also celebrated the 150th anniversary of its founding by Rev. Edward Sorin, C.S.C., this year. Ave is actually several weeks older than the city of South Bend.
Thomas Grady, Ave’s publisher, is among those featured in the documentary.
