Fr. William A. Barry, S.J., (1930-2020) a pioneer in the revival of Ignatian spirituality, is a prolific writer and author whose books include The Practice of Spiritual Direction, Finding God in All Things, Seek My Face, and Now Choose Life.
He served as a spiritual director, retreat leader, professor, counselor, and provincial of the New England Province of the Society of Jesus. He was the founder and director of the Center for Religious Development and also served as director of the Jesuit tertianship program at Campion Center.
