Forest of Peace Publishing was founded in 1979 to publish Prayers for the Domestic Church, Prayers for a Planetary Pilgrim, and other innovative prayer resources by Fr. Edward M. Hays (1931-2016). Ave Maria Press acquired the imprint in 2003 to carry on that tradition.
