Web 2.0 in the Religion Classroom: How to Get Started, Tips, Tricks, Samples, and Errors to Avoid

This webinar will show compelling examples as to why all religion teachers need to use technology in their classrooms. Carmen Ribera Lagalante will demonstrate some simple ways to get started and then provide many ideas, assignments, websites, and other great tools for their classroom. She will also show teachers resources that will help them to become more tech-savvy and discuss some errors to avoid!

About the presenter: Carmen Ribera Lagalante is passionate about the integration of technology in the classroom and teaching the Catholic faith. For the past nine years, Mrs. Lagalante has been a religion teacher at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, California. Her courses include theology of the body, sacraments, morality, and AP computer science. Mrs. Lagalante earned a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts from Thomas Aquinas College.
