Prayer National Emergency

We implore you, Lord, to watch over our nation as we reel from [name emergency] that has besieged it. In the midst of this dilemma, may we be encouraged to come together and seek ways of serving one another, recognizing in our common humanity our shared dignity based on your having formed us in your image and likeness. Please protect us from further peril. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen.
