When I heard Ave Maria Press was releasing a notetaking Bible in the **RSV-2CE** translation (my favorite!), I was really excited. Now that I have it in hand, I can say—I love it.
I got the **Premium Imitation Leather** version. It’s under 2 lbs., 6x9 inches, and feels great to hold. The design is simple: a brown cover with a small cross and two anchors above the words “Holy Bible.” It’s clean, simple, and perfect for writing reflections.
What really impressed me is that it includes **cross-references to the Catechism of the Catholic Church**—just like the Didache Bible I use daily. Each page shows where verses are used in the Catechism, which adds a deeper level of connection without cluttering the layout.
It’s sewn-bound, lays flat, and looks durable. If you’re looking for a Bible to write in, pray with, and grow in faith, this one’s a gem. This bible has become a daily use bible for me.

I received this Bible for Christmas and I loved it! I was able to take notes in the ample space of each page and love it! When you feel inspired while reading, you don’t always have paper nearby. It’s great to be able to write down your thoughts near the scripture that inspired them. Beautiful cover and easy to read the print!
